About Me

We're not the typical family. I've recently become Caregiver/Guardian to my Mom as she deals with Dementia. I'm married, have three grown children and also an 18 yr. old daughter who lives at home and recently made us grandparents to her beautiful new baby girl. That means that we have four generations of women under the same roof. Mister and I have been married forever. . .It's not the life we dreamed about, nor the one we would have chosen, but most days we find a way to laugh and bumble our way through. We're enjoying the journey, even with the unexpected side trips along the way. FOLLOW ME, if you dare! LOL!

Helping the Easter Bunny

I'm thinking about a craft.
An Easter craft that Mom can work on then take
to the Nursing Home to give away.

If this turns out to be too
messy, labor intense, difficult we'll scale down
the project and just make a few and give to some
children.

Mom enjoys crafts and I've not come up with anything for her to "craft" since Christmas.  Gotta get back into the groove.  We'll see how this goes.

BTW, the original crafting idea suggested putting a piece of candy inside each egg, if that's too much of a problem we'll just have to eat the candy.  Oh the things I'm willing to do to make this work.  *wink

  1. Oh, I hope this is something your mom can do! I made some of these several years ago and they were really pretty. Great idea - plus you can do your part with the candy (hehe).
